First post on my new blog

Welcome to my blog. I am excited to be starting a photography blog. I think the title kind of says it all. I, a young (19) city girl, married a dairy farmer. For many years I felt like Zsa Zsa Gabor in Green Acres, couldn't cook much, and didn't know diddly about farming. I am happy to say, 32 years later, that I can cook, and I know more about how to raise corn, soybeans, and calves then I ever thought I would. I have also raised 4 boys, and sent them out into the world. They, I am happy to report, are all thriving.

I found a new passion, and for the last 4 years I have been happily snapping away and learning and developing my love of photography. I am now ready to start sharing my life on the farm and my love of family and photography here on this blog. I am excited to share a slice of country life through my pictures. I will start with a few of my first grandson, Carter. He was the reason I got hooked on photography. The first time I got a perfect exposure, with great catchlights, that was it, hook, line and sinker, I was a goner. Hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoy taking them.
