trusted me to take their pictures knowing this was my first wedding. I was so nervous, but the two of them were so kind and gracious, they put me at ease. Their wedding was all about love and music. Music is how they met. Micheal was playing in a band and Melissa was at a different wedding dance at a different venue close by. Both bands took a break at the same time and Micheal and Melissa were both out getting air. Micheal noticed Melissa standing among her friends and loved her red dress. He went over and talked to her and asked her if she wanted to come hear his band play. The rest is history as they say.
I drove to Hanley Falls, knowing both my sons had wives expecting that day. I was also nervous about that. The wedding was beautiful, Micheal's friends played guitar and softly sang in the background before the wedding and Micheals sister sang during the wedding. She did Josh Grobin's You lift me up and it was unbelievable.
The next morning driving home at 6:00 I got a call from son #1 saying the baby was on the way, 2 hours later got a call from son #2 saying the baby was on the way. The twin cousins were born 6 hours apart.
Theresa is a beautiful girl in the inside as well as the outside. She knows what she wants to do when she graduates and I have no doubt that she will achieve every goal she sets for herself. I loved the dress shots and when the sun was setting I got her to do some Taekwondo moves for me. Strong as well as smart. It was fun getting to know you Theresa.
Today I got to re-shoot Em. My fault, I forgot to change my flash setting when going from outside to indoors. Lesson learned: Always check settings when changing light conditions. Anyway, Em is a little doll and loves to get her picture taken. So much fun taking little girl pictures. I hope mama likes them as much as I do!
This is my niece Kate. She is not only beautiful, but smart as can be. We had lots of fun taking her pictures. She loves photography also, so after we were done I gave her the camera and she took some great sunset pictures.
We did this in Dec. in about 5 minutes. Had Christmas the night before and we were all tired, but I made them run out my back door in about 20 below weather and got a few quick shots. They are hugging each to keep from freezing to death!!!
Hello and welcome to my little place on the internet.
I LOVE photography. I am happiest when I have a camera in my hand, or sitting at my computer editing the photos I have captured. I enjoy meeting new people, getting to know them and then capturing those special little things that make them unique and beautiful.
Natural light is my favorite, but because we live in MN I have learned to embrace my off camera flash, and have fun trying new tricks with it.
I am a location photographer. I will come to your home, or location of your choice. A favorite park, the ball diamond, anywhere that have memories make for great pictures.
I look forward to meeting you and creating artwork and memories to fill your home.
Life is too short for boring pictures!
